Waterfall

The two circular objects in this piece, a floor drain and floor cleanout cover, have the design elements of line, shape and value that I am continually drawn to. The floor drain that I photographed was in the women's change room at the community centre where I swim. One curious lady asked what I was doing while I was bent over, focusing on the floor!

The duplicate photographs of the circles were cut into quarters, then turned, resulting in the undulating, vertical flow of a waterfall.
