ZIGZAGS

ZIGZAGS is another in a series that I began in 2021, featuring cowboy hats.

The colours are inspired by a visit to Palm Springs and seeing the Mid-Century Modern (MCM), homes built in the 1950s and 1960s. I saw many doors and gates at these houses painted in orange or turquoise.

Cutting the image into two triangles follows the use of triangles in Xs and Os created in 2024 (see it in the LARGE COLLAGES collection).
