UPs & DOWNs

At some point, while photographing the covers for spill containers at gas stations, I also noticed monitoring well caps (see photograph below).  The monitoring wells are for checking ground water quality and detecting potential leaks from the underground storage tanks. 

I was drawn to the combination of both curved and straight lines, a circle and a triangle.  I used photo editing to either cover up or highlight different aspects of the rusty cover.
